Enchant Shield: Mighty/Exceptional Stamina

Has anyone seen this enchant on any server? It is +35 stamina and is under two names on wowhead but has very few comments and no one has seen it. Maybe, like epic gems, it won't be out until 3.1?

It feels wrong to put +20 Defense or a shield spike on Wall of Terror which I picked up tonight.

Your combined avoidance + mitigation needs to be over 102.4% to be block capped.

Add up all your stats on the defense page: miss% + dodge% + parry% +block%
add 30% (from HS) , and that's how much you have.

Download and install TankPoints, hit Holy Shield, open the calculator. If your chances of being hit (and crit, but I assume that is a given) are zero you are block-capped vs. a level 83 mob (raid boss).

also the 5% from the mobs base chance to miss. unless i'm remembering horribly wrong and there is no miss base chance in addition to the +miss given by defense.

I have some gems that are parry/stamina and defense/stamina, plus my meta is the 21 Defense 5% SBV as well instead of +32 Stamina +something or other
I'd put in some dodge/stamina but no one has the damn thing yet.

Besides for my guild I need to stack Stamina. When they see me raid buffed at 35k and they look at the warrior tank at 33k that looks cool. But then they look at the druid tank with 42k and smirk in both our general directions.

Also are you sure you're block capped? Most people seem to neglect the 1.5-2% lose in miss from it's frightenly high DR.

Tell the druid to learn to block then come back and talk to you.

And to answer your question, by all means go for defense Everyone loves Defense Rating now in WotLK. Plus if you still want the stam enchant, im sure you got the gold to burn anyway if the exceptional stamina does come out

In my boss raid gear currently sitting at 104.x depending on what I swap out. I think the highest I can make is 104.7.
