I've been selling everything while its ripe. I'd assume everything will go down eventually, and then i'll level my professions. Worst comes to worst, i'll be leveling my miner a lil and farming my ore for JC.. enchanting mats can wait also. Sell em for 180g a stack now, probably buy them for 40-60g a stack a month from now.

Not sure about most things -

Cobalt - 8-10 gold PER. 200g a stack is nice.
Saronite - 15g or so, last i checked.

Herbalist friends are saying that we're looking about 200-250 a stack for most herbs.

Gems seem to be going quite nicely. Depends on the cut, but I've seen 50g+ per green gem.

I don't expect prices to drop too quickly. Leveling to 80 earns a solid chunk of gold. There are tons of people leveling professions and crafting their gear, and even after the initial surge, there will be stragglers hitting 80, alts hitting 80 which bring more professions to level. Along with enchants, gems etc. Obviously, prices will drop, but I'd expect everything to stay about 50-100% more expensive than their BC equivalents were. Also, I think the drop rate on cloth has gone way down now that tailors get their passive ability that lets them "find more cloth on humanoids". I'm getting only a little over a stack per level when I remember having my bags full of netherweave when I was leveling through outland. This will probably keep cloth prices a bit higher (though 40g+ is a bit inflated).

I've been selling off DE'd mats too - will lvl up enchanting once the prices stabilize. Currently, I'm planning on lvling my hunter too along with my pally - that toon is the miner/skinner. Ores will go to my JC, greens to my enchanter

While not as bad as the OP’s, prices are still pretty high on my server (as an enchanter, I WISH that infinite dust went for that much here )

My main’s professions are enchanting and engineering. I’m not even bothering to level up enchanting (at 375 from BC), but am just selling all DE’d items for profit right now. However, all of those profits are going into engineering as I have to uby my mats off the AH. I want to level it up to get the new ret goggles ASAP while I’m still in my low 70’s, but boy is it expensive!

Oh, and nitro boots are win. As are hand mounted fireball launchers. That is all.

shame i cant sell mine.. my girlfriend wants it for her flying carpet...

i would expect prices to be 50-100% over BC as well. 20g/arcane dust 10g/Greater planar, that should bring it to 40g dust/20g essence or so.

decided to level my miner toon as well to level JC on my main :p
