Grinding Sha'tar Rep

Postby AusDante » Thu Nov 06, 2008 6:09 pm

Hi All,

I need to build my Sha'tar rep so I can get the shield.
My question is, based on my gear (I logged out in my Tanking gear, so hopefully armory is playing along - Ignore the Magelo sig, it is outdated) what would be the quickest way to grind the rep I need?

P.S. I am fairly new to tanking and have only done mech once (normal) as an OT, none of the others yet.

Thanks

The "best" way is to grab two friends, one healer, one dps. head into normal mech. Kill all the mobs up to the first miniboss. Exit. Reset instances. Repeat. You should get a few hundred rep per run. Make sure you stay in the inst for at least 15 minutes, so you don't get the "Too many instances" debuff.

Sounds great, I'll give it a try if I can find the ppl to help out.

Any other suggestions? Which Instance would be the easiest/quickest to run so I can priorities in case I need to join groups?

Thanks

If you have the heroic key, Heroic Mech is usually your best bet. 4 quick badges. Heroic Bot has 5 badges, but can take a while. Arc is just too much of a pain to farm, imo.

Thanks, I'll probably stick to Mech then, I have the key, so I will run Normal mech until I feel happy with it, then change to heroic :)

Now if only I had the week off to play
