Repping up

I have been reading about some of the new rep items in http://maintankadin.failsafedesign.com/ ... hp?t=14726 and my current plan is to get http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?item=44150 and http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?item=44132 eventually working to get exalted with them for the epic version. These i feel are the most important things to rep up with first as the rest of the gear will eventually become obsolete but these enchants are permanent so i was wondering if anyone could tell me the quickest way to rep up with these two factions. Like are there instances i can repeatedly run or are there only quests?

Also is there any benefit for being either the new aldor/scryer besides the crappy items listed for both? http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?faction=1104 compared to http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?faction=1105

Seems like a pretty underwhelming decision to make.

You can buy a tabard for a faction and then any instance you run, gives you rep with that faction as long as you are wearing the tabard. I do think you need to be honored before you can buy the tabard, but for all the factions I've cared about thus far, that was easily reached with quests.

to get the rep with The Sons of Hodir, you'll have to do a pretty long quest chain in The Storms Peaks, which will eventually make you neutral with them, so you can start getting rep through dailies.

Getting rep with them through championing (running lvl80 instances with tabard) isn't possible afaik.

Will take a few weeks to get exalted probably, so better start doing those dailies asap.

Looks like Hodir has a turn in like the Netherwing Eggs, though; I went from Friendly to Exalted with Netherwing in five days by grinding eggs in between dailies - might be possible to do the same for this new faction. Though I won't have the experience of other people grinding to tell me where the best farming routes are...
