Does Leo Crit (in demon phase)

I'm attempting to gear up my Prot Pally to tank Leo in his demon phase. I need to know if I should worry about resilience and defense to make myself uncrittable or just stack fire resist and stam.

Just fire resist as long as you have another tank for the melee phase.

So does that mean melee can't go in during demon phase or can they max hit box and not get hit by the splash damage? I've only ever done it with a warlock tanking but I'm gonna be running some SSC/TK pugs before wrath and may need to do this depending on who wants to attend.

You will need to be at max melee range for both you and your dps. Honestly it's downright hard for locks to tank now a days due to the perma of salv. In the past the warlock could take salv off themselves and get 1.43 times the threat they normally would.

Isn´t Searing Pain an exception from the in-built salvation? This is a wild guess btw, but you´d think Blizzard would leave them a "tanking-spell".

I don't know if they get an additional threat modifier to searing pain that is 1.43 times than they had previously and I would be suprised if blizzard remembered to make lock tanking possible.

I aggro off the lock tank for 1/3-1/2 of his demon phase all thanks to the SoV DoT. Don't forget that being in FR gear limits their TPS. Now the new Searing pain glyph could help but only if the guild could convince the lock that it is worth giving up a major glyph slot.
