Now that AW causes forbearance again

...could anyone go suggest to Ghostcrawler to make divine protection not cause forbearance AND can only be used while with a shield?

GC's only said it "may" be via Forbearance. Nothing's confirmed yet.

If forberence still prevents DP from being used for 2 mins. then forget about using Avenging Wrath again...
Something like 30 secs. would be more reasonable imo. The wait is too long...Ret PvP also will likely just stay away from AW all together....it's too risky, DS is a guarenetted life-saver while AW may make the difference.

Why couldnt they just add a simple cancelaura avenging wrath to bubble and cancelaura divine shield for when popping wings, it would seem the easiest way of dealing with it without screwing anyone over.

But nooo, forebearance and screwing ppl over is more in line with their policies i guess.

Wouldn't a simple solution be for AW to proc a CD on both bubbles equal to the duration of AW, like 2 similar trinkets?

Well I know I'll prob never use AW again in PVP. Being unable to bubble is unaceptable.

Why don't they fix the real problem... bubble? Instead of making bubble reduce auto attack speed by 50% make it reduce ALL damage done by 50%?

This would discourage the use of DS and AW at the same time because you wouldn't be getting very much benifit from it and would keep bubble a defensive ability.

The only reason I could think for them to solve this issue like this is because this is a much simpler change to make than introducing some kind of mutual exclusiveness between AW and DS. The fact that this basically removes AD from the Tankadin's array of tools since no sane one would lock out DP for 2 minutes is just a minor side effect, apparently.

Oh no, you guys are missing the absolute best part of their not-so-hotfix. AW is proccing Divine Guardian for me and it stays up after AW is gone. I got levelled on a Gruul pug in the 1st shatter.

P.S. Yes I know the bug is already reported in another thread, doh.

Well that's just a bug. It doesn't say much more than how shoddy their code delivery processes are and perhaps how stressed they are with the coming WotLK release.

Yeah they are taking on too much this close to release. I really don't think Ret was the emergency they made it out to be. And their time would have been better spent making sure the release was as smooth and bug free as possible. Also, the extra time would have allowed them to be a bit less Hack N Slash with their changes.

I just don't understand these hotfixes(and they are all to Ret), is it really needed to balance lvl 70 PvP when we are two weeks away from expansion?

In the meanwhile arcane mages are two-shotting people and that is fine..
