One-Handed Weapon Spec changed to increase all damage by 3% ( or 4% ) per rank

I suspect that would be a easy way to fix us after the nerf to seals

Thoughts?

Best way to improve myself I see is to play warrior tank at lvl 80. Prove me wrong please.

My thoughts about that are it would also increase our AoE threat, which isn't really that great of a thing imo.

Hmm then perhaphs a side effect?

For every rank , your consecration damage is decreased by 1% :P

While the idea is good, i think that is not the right way.

We need something that goes on the lines of "Increases seal/judge damage by 50%"

Or make it "Increases all damage done with 1handed weapons and shields by 4%"/rank.

Sounds op to get 20% i guess, but it´d affect only white hits, HoTR, ShoR, AS. More simple tooltip and function i think.

And i´d absolutely love to see the replies to the first guy that´d cry on forums about how "prot paldin did imba AS crit on my ass in bg?!?!"

Shield to tha face!

Would weaken seals&judgements even more i guess, but should be a buff in threat still, and dps too (who wouldn´t trade 5% seal, jdugement and consecrate dmg for 20% on everything else?).

On second thought, i guess this would really make us revolve too much around those other abilities...they could just keep it at the current %, and add a "And increases damage by seals and judges by x%" in the way worldie said.

Increases Damage done with 1 H weapons, seals, and judgements by 40% (or some other amount). Would solve our low melee damage/threat contribution without raising our aoe threat.

Hey, this is only the third time since pre-beta that Blizzard have gone ahead and done a major nerf with minimal amount of testing. Beta->WoW, TBCBeta->TBC, WotLKBeta->WotLK. I call that a pattern. If they don't intent on driving people away from playing paladin, then they're rather talented at doing just that.

All they need to do is make Sheath of light affect healing spellpower only, and roll 30% of Spell coeff into all paladin attack power coeffs.

That would help a lot, while not affecting ret DPS at all.

Then they can also increase spellpower coeffs to help holy and prot without affecting ret.

Its crazy trying to balance the same ability for all 3 specs, when talents such as Sheath exist. Since all abilities have an AP coeff now, its really not needed.
