Some Glyphs You'd Recommend for tanking.

What are some glyphs you'd recommend for tanking/threat? Right now I have the longer duration on Consecrate by 2% is this something I should be using? i've heard it can cause GC issues with other spells?

Would 2% throw off my GC a lot where I might be taking a risk with Holy Shield?

1) its 2 seconds to consecrate, and yes it will throw off your rotation.

2) Why the hell do you have your vent info in your sig?

Thank you, just looks good the fact longer the consecrate more tps right? I wouldn't want to knock off my cool downs though and get caught without Holy Shield. :roll:

Longer consecrate DOES NOT get more TPS. It gets the SAME TPS for less mana. THAT IS ALL.

Duh

, suppose it makes sense when you look at it that way. The less mana is good, the longer duration to, but is it really worth it? I just got it because it was free to me and the duration looked good to, I don't know Im thinking of destroying that Glyph.

It's heavily advised against. It makes AoE tanking harder (have to relocate? Too bad, the mobs will spend an extra 2 seconds outside of consecrate while you wait for the CD to be up) and breaks the 69696 rotation resulting in a dps loss.

extremely good point, it's to bad it doesn't just give you 2% duration and not effect the cool down of it. Meh oh well I suppose it's coming off tonight.

10 Second duration. 2 Second cooldown means you have 2 seconds to play with. Also Crushing blows gone with 3.0 means you dont have to have 100% uptime to not get your face smashed.

Thanks! Makes a lot of sense I guess. Being without crushing blows Holy Shield not being as required as much
