i have it. Since we rotate our MT's i use it often when OT'ing. its ideal for when there's predictable raid dmg. No damage comes though. HOWEVER, last week on felmyst during the aoe poison, i bubbled and altough i took 0 dmg from the first tick, the 2nd or 3rd tick inflicted about 120-150 dmg on me from each of the other 24 members. and yes, Divine shield was still up. havent seen it happen again since

I can tell you from my warlock that a damage shield + lifetap still means you loss life.

That's because it costs hp, doesn't damage you per se.
Like health funnel, it's "mana" cost is health.

I had DG stay up without DS in ZA, I bubbled -> drop bubble macro'd during bear boss to drop the mangle (he only gets one bear phase anyhow) and DG stayed. It stayed all the way through ZA and most of a sethekk halls, up until I used bubble to break a fear.

I could have clicked it off, but I was finding it pretty amusing, taking damage for the whole raid. The flame casters would drop half my health when they aoe'd, hexxlord barely damaged the raid when he pulsed shadow, but I needed heavy healing, and funniest of all, our arms warrior "offtank" didn't need a shield to do the lnyx boss cleave soak.

Damage shield and immunity are completely different mechanics though. Quite a lot of things that can pierce a shield can't piece immunity.

Tested as of 10/23 - Divine Shield + Hand of Sacrifice = a stream of incoming -0 damage. Does not damage you through divine shield.

Actually I was quite wrong, JoB damages you through Divine Shield. So it depends on the ability. Most likely Blood is coded such that the health is part of the 'cost'.

Somewhat OT. But I was curious if anyone knows do multiple Hands of Sacrifices stack on one target at same time?
