Tanking Classes Compilation for WotLK - Last update 17 OCT

Both scale with AP as well as they do with SP. The only reason why people would ever use a spell damage weapon with consecrate is that it's easier to find a weapon with a massive amount of SP than one with the same amount of spell power. Now this is only useful in 5+ true aoe situations (no proity target).towelliee wrote:So Concecrate does not scale with anything but Spell Power correct?
So only abilities that scale with SP are concecrate and Holy Shield?

The only reason why a spell damage weapon would be used on massive AoE is because spell damage weapons trade dps for spell power. Otherwise AP is just as good as SP as far consecration is concerned.towelliee wrote:Did I miss somewhere on WOTLK forums the calculations for AP SP and Concecrate for TPS?
So 4 Target tanking DPS Wep
Massive AOE back to Spell Power Weap?

Ok I just got confused
Judgement has been replaced with 3 new spells; Judgement of Light, Judgement of Wisdom, and Judgement of Justice. All Judgement spells are considered ranged attacks for purposes of how they hit and how they critically hit. All cause damage based on attack power and spell power.
Judgement of Light now heals based on the Paladin’s attack power and spell power, the effect can not trigger more than once ever 4 seconds.
Judgement of Justice will no longer prevent Fear effects, but will only prevent NPCs from fleeing (e.g. at low health).
Judgement of Wisdom now restores mana based on the Paladin’s attack power and spell power, the effect can not trigger more than once every 4 seconds
So when I Seal Corruption. What am I Judging? Like I see the buff now but your saying I can now Judge 3 things instead of just normal judge for each seal.

Yes, what you judge (light, wisdom, justice) is now completely independent of your current seal.

So the Seal itself will be a buff on US. But in past we had a normal Judgement that would do damage.
So our NORMAL now judgement is GONE. So we have choice between 3 judges.
Now even though I am using Seal of Righteousness lets say, and I Judge Wisdom on my target does the Judge itself still hit for the dmg for seal of righteousness while at the same time judging the enemy?

The judgment spells now work like this:
1. Apply that judgement's debuff
2. Apply judgement effect of current seal (in all cases damage, amount of damage depends on which seal)
3. Proc current seal
The old system was:
1. Apply judgement effect of current seal (either damage or debuff)
The new thing is that the debuffs (light/wisdom/justice) are connected to the judgements now rather than the seals, and that judging procs your seal.

exactly. <3!!!
The judgement part of the seal happens when you use any type of judgement.
The NPC gets the debuff of the judgement you use.
It no longer consumes the seal so you do not have to reseal after you judge.
