Precision

Postby Anubisknight » Mon May 07, 2007 10:22 pm

Hi,

I'm currently specced prot 49/12. Post patch 2.1, since we're losing out on some mana from overhealing, would it be better to invest the points from precision into divine intellect? I'm also thinking of taking off points from spell warding so that I get the full 5 points in DI.

Comments/Suggestions appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Anubis.

Probably not.
Unless you have 300 int in tanking gear, the talent does not give enough mana to make much of a difference. I have 107 int in tank gear, 10% more would mean 150 ish mana, whoopidoo.

Precision can help your melee swings hit more often and that makes it better in my eyes, you have something called Seals that are firmly linked to melee hits... ;)

Spell Warding can't be substituted atm imo. Flat % spell damage reduction? Tanks strive to take less dmg! :)

The SA nerf will hit hard, yes. Unless something is changed drastically (talents, base skills, items etc etc) we'll start suffering alot. :/

edit: spelling :O
