H-MgT ... No Bird?

Postby ldeboer » Mon Sep 29, 2008 6:46 pm

Did H-MgT (yet again) last night but had the weirdest thing Kael didn't spawn a bird ... we were all like WTF as we got to air phase?

Our dps was about average and infact I was suspecting we might get 2 bird sequences. From memory recount gave me 700 dps for the hunter, 560 for the Dps warrior, 450 for the rogue and 300 for me. It was also a fairly decent amount of time before kael entered air phase.

So is there a bug with H-MgT atm?

The only other possibility I could see is our rogue is a really good pvp'er and certainly knows how to stun-lock, he pwned the priestess fight and I did ask the two melee to interrupt him as much as possible to keep fireball numbers down so is the bird summon interruptable?

Prob done H-MgT run 100+ times never seen it not spawn a bird.

Happens quite often. Maybe not often but I've seen it happen about 3 or 4 times.

-edit-

Almost 100% positive it's not interruptible.

Crazy theorycraft incoming:

Well kicking/pummeling someone, besides interrupting, locks that people out of that particular school of magic, so interrupting fireballs would lock out fire spells, summoning a phoenix looks like a fire-ish spell to me, so if you had a really good rogue and warrior keeping the FB interrupted would lock out his fire spells, he wouldn't summon the phoenix.

Disclaimer: Just a theory, can't guarantee it ;)

I rarely saw him spawn a bird when I was running it with T6+ DPS, you can definitely get him to P2 before he spawns one.

ran it last night, and killed him in first g. lapse. No bird, NO falling back to the floor. It was pathetically easy.
