If this shield doesn't wow you, you are not a true Paladin.

My point was that glorious crests are for wearing into battle, not hanging on the wall.

Yes, but he asked about a "medieval shield" ^^
Also, while I do know about the fantasy aspect, it does nothing to make me like this particular design. If the TE uses his conception of a paladin to state this would be a fitting paladin shield I feel free to use mine to disagree.

Wowhead lists the shield as 200 item levels, which means they're from a Heroic Mode.
Yay for non-raid availability.

Congrats.
This is why I'm a humorless feminist. Because rape jokes killed my sense of humor.

If I had to applaud anything in beta so far. (Barring T7 gear) its been the art department really bringing some balls to the forefront and slapping them on the table and going " Check THAT out! "
They really did some fine work on some items. The shields they truly went to town on, and I love the fact they went from boring to pretty badass lookin.
The weapons look big, and bad, they look like they'd rip you in two. The shields look like they could block a steaming locomotive, and laugh at it while doing so.

Hey Selinaria, how would you compare heroic CoT: Stratholme compared to heroic Black Morass or heroic Durnholde? More or less difficult than the former instances?

Well it's lolable as prot pally at times, round up group, instant cast holy wrath for huge aggro + AOE stun with the undead packs.
Overall it's pretty easy ( all heroics are relatively easier compared to BC heroics as Blizzards wants the transition to heroics to be smoother), I tanked the place just fine in level 75-80 blues to test it out properly (sharded epics that were better gogo) and wasn't crit immune, once you obtain a few epics and crit immunity it becomes very enjoyable and easy.
To more specifically answer your question: the instance doesn't require some good group makeup or anything, just AOE tank every pull no CC and gg. Easier than those 2 imo.
And boy do I want that shield outta the Malygos raid lol, the Barricade of Eternity.
