Void Reaver threat
Just a random blurb about threat on VR. Usually when we do VR, I go in first since I can front-load my threat and dps can start right away. Anyways, the group was stacked, one of our holy paladins was ret for a night, and since we were short on people we gave him a spot just to fill out the raid. So I had a group with a shaman dropping WoA and Sanc Aura from the pally. I also had about 550 spell damage raid buffed with 91 spell hit rating, I wasn't using spell damage pots/flasks however.
Anyways, I was able to tank VR from 100% to about 2% when the feral druid finally got agro for the last 2% of the fight (I was thinking about bop'ing him to get agro back
). Anyways, needless to say, I, along with other guild members were pretty shocked by that amount of sustained threat on VR. So, for all you paladin tanks out there, try convincing your guild to let you be the first tank in for VR and swap in a couple pieces of spell dmg gear, see how far you can take your threat!

Re: Void Reaver threat
I've tanked him the first 15-20%, and then the last 15% before. It's really easy as long as you're going hard for threat (I hit about 400 +dmg with wizard oil/spirit buffs. If I can convince our RL to give me Wrath of Air for raids.... )

Ret pallies are hax for aggro generation, it's true.
In the beginning the universe was created. This has made many people upset and generally been decided as a bad idea.

I love this fight. Warriors get left in the dust lol. I nvr made it to 2% i think like 35% was my best but i was still second on agro other than the warrior.

I don't know if anyone said this, but there's a really neat trick you can pull to get imba threat on loot reaver.
In one of the first few pulls in heroic botanica, you'll find a mob named broodward mender or somesuch. He/she can cast a buff, holy fury. It increases spelldamage by 295 for 30 minutes.
A priest can mind control it and cast it on anyone in the party.
It's awesome.

I believe you lose that buff as soon as you leave the instance..
Atleast I lost it the last time I got it.

Sometimes I tank him for most of the fight. Sometimes I get a string of knockbacks and lose aggro at 80%, the other two tanks get lucky on knockbacks and I don't regain aggro until like 20%.
It can be pretty random but it's a very fun fight to tank whatever happens!
