Which is why everyone should have a the 2 minutes pvp trinket. Stopping before a doomfire is invaluable.

The fight is not a dps race at all. The enrage timer is ample.
The longest attempt my guild have ever done had a very low raid dps, probably 10k or 20k, and we still beat the enrage timer by 4 or 5 minutes.

DPS Is barely important at all, the big thing is surviving.

Well I think people just didnt react fast enough to avoid teh fires before a fear came. We only have 3 shaman in the raid, so we couldnt cover all groups with Tremor Totems. so a couple of groups had to move far enough away from the fires so they would not get feared into them before they could be cleansed.

I guess they just need more practice... or we need more shamans lol.

Hello!

I am a Spanish tankadin who wants to tank Archimonde.

In my guild is a feral druid who will TANK, even though we have not killed. I have proposed tank, but I must say that I do a block equip for this combat.

What is your opinion?

Pure avoidance rules block all the way on this fight. Archimonde hits very slowly and for really big numbers, so block doesn't do much for you.
Also threat is not an issue. People's running around so much you'll hardly be threat capping people, specially since there's no rush to beat him down.

Other than that, don't fear going below uncrushable, Archimonde doesn't crush. If by any reason it's feasible to trade block for avoidance, then by all means do it.

Yeah you can definitely change most of your gear there, you're very low on avoidance(can get like 10% more and still be under the typical full t6 avoidance).
Try the 2.3 badge chest(stoic guardian), the kara neckpiece, you should be able to use all epic gems now too.
Trinkets, get the pocketwatch over Timbal's. if you can, get Kaz'rogal's Hardened Heart. The badge ring will do you wonders, as will either Sundered Souls(tidewalker) or Eternal Guardian(whatever, hyjal rep ring)


Also on an offtopic note = don't bother with spell damage gems, and if you don't want 2% threat(it's full of win) on your gloves, I recommend 240 armor instead of stam.

Swap out the Crystal Trinket for a Pocketwatch and maybe change out to the Runeshield for Kaz's Hardened Heart if you have it already.

Those will up your avoidance a good bit and you should be able to do it if your healers are awake.

I can not go back to SSC, as did Reroll a tank when the guild was finished. I've only the vial of kael'thas. Is there any alternative of rings?

The jewelry's batch of Devasted Sun can replace the Moroes batch?

The pocketwatch should be in every tankadins bags at all times to be ready to be used when needed as it is an amazing trinket. If you do not have it run KZ every week till you get it.

Also look at swapping the spell damage gems you have now for STAM gems.

If there is ANY way you can get a group togather to kill Vashj i would say to do it since the ring from Hyjal rep is an amazing ring to have. You have the rep for the best one already so try to find a way to kill Lady Vashj and go collect your ring.

second-to-best rep version is good too, you only lose the armor proc.

I agree but he has 999/1000 with Scale of the Sands so he would get the top tier ring the second he killed Vashj and turned in the quest.

Now I play and work hard to become a good palatank, which unfortunately there are very few in my server.
