How to know if your Guild is Ready to start BT?
Was just wondering when is a good starting benchmark to know if your guild is ready to begin Black Temple.
Right now we're 4/5 in Hyjal, and we dont really have any trouble with any of the Bosses... we'll ussually down them in no more than 2 tries... and Rage is like free loot, but Archimonde is giving us problems.
I was hearing that most guilds, don't even try Archimonde until they are at least 4-5/9 in BT? Is it feasible to start running BT now to get some more people in high quality t6 gear before we down Archi?
*also how would you judge the difficulty level in Early BT, compared to Hyjal, and late t5? (Vashj, Kael) and how does the difficulty in the encounters progress as you get further in? Simply how would you describe the difficulty of Naj, Supr --- up to Gorefiend, Bloodboil.

4/5 hyjal means you can clear BT already.

We only killed Naj after 4/5 and focused on Archi right after, but yeah 4/5 means you can definitely handle most of BT
Naj is about as hard as, say, Aneth? Supremus and Akama are total jokes, and Gorefiend is either easy if the right people get shadow or a total mess if the wrong people do, imo probably on the same level as Archimonde. But then Archi isn't all that much harder than Supremus, just way way way less forgiving.
Bloodboil and RoS are the first bosses that require thought.

Start BT ASAP if you're 4/5 in MH. Naj'entus, Supremus, and Shade of Akama are all on par or easier than the bosses you've faced in MH so far. Gorefiend is also easy once people learn the whole gimmick to it (which can sometimes take awhile depending on who gets marked). Bloodboil is the first hard fight, and RoS is difficult. Compared to Vashj/Kael, not much compares. The only encounter I think my guild spent more time learning was Illidan. If you've killed both of them, then you're capable of doing most of MH/BT as long as you put in the effort. I'd go back to Archi after a few boss kills in BT. He's really not that difficult, but people will take some time learning to run away from fires/learning to not crater and wipe the raid.

After everyone in the guild has acquired 400 badges since 2.3 or 2.4
Or if you can kill Kael'thas/Vashj
Or if you can do the trash in hyjal before its boss.

That was a new one xD - but yeah, if your 4/5 into MH, you really should'nt have too many issues in there, if your guild members knows what their doing.
What? Most of the fights in BT are purely 'do you have the gear.' 400 badges gets you a weapon, ring, and pants of BT or higher quality at the least. Combined with some random gear it's more than enough. Even have enough left for some other goodies.

O_O really?
Yes, killed Archi 2 weeks after Illidan.
Our raid force wasn't exactly the most aware... so after 2 days of chainwipes on Archi > 80%, officers decided to skip it completely.
Council was a good training for Archi, went down the same evening we went back to him after Illidan.

BT isn't that hard nowadays, it used to be a gear check when there was no badge loot but now it isn't.
If your at 4/5 MH, you can easily get to 7/9 before you might get "stuck" again for a longer period, since council is almost a copy of archimonde, but a lot more forgiving.
Najentus, joke after people look around who has the spine and healers don't let anyone be <10k before the throw.
Supremus, easyish, as long as people avoid the volcanoes well and don't run up the catapults (Resets him)
Akama, Is he really a boss fight? trash killing...
Gorefiend, Force everyone to play the minigame online before going to him, otherwise nothing else. This Game
Bloodboil, healer check and coordination check. Might get rough if the raid can't move or the healers don't learn to spam heal the enraged persons
RoS, "dps check". Only requires 2 interupters, 1 capable warrior tank and loads of dps
Mother, "Lets walk hand in hand and die together!". As long as people don't get too attached, she's cake. SR gear makes her a joke
Council -> Major aoe fest like archimonde.
After you've got mother down you should consider going back to archi or kill council, depends how your raid feels like.
