Current to the final beta push and release-day live version of WotLK, 3.0.3.9183.

Things You Should Know
Comparison of threat stats weighted by their itemization value is right here.

When you need to skip a GCD (to reseal or plea), skip a Consecration for mana efficiency or a Judgement for maximum TPS.

Post-nerf ShoR is still the largest chunk of our threat.

Titansteel Guardian has fallen! With the end-of-beta nerfs to our coefficients, the Bonecrusher has pulled ahead considerably.

No, threat isn't an issue. For most purposes, you should just use a tank weapon.

Potency (20 STR) is the best weapon enchant. Yes, even at 80!

Things I'd Like To Know
Always on the lookout for more accurate new coefficients.

This is a work in progress. Let me know if you find any errors.


Things I Know Are Missing
Parry haste. Reckoning. 1HWS (which is listed once on the Ability page)

Enemy armor modeling.

Using This Spreadsheet
The numbers are for level 80. Scotthew is maintaining a level 70 version of this, please see his sig for the latest link.

Punch in the stats of any weapon on the first sheet and check the numbers on the last sheet for TPS. Base character stats are in Stats.

To see the numbers without a particular ability (say, remove Consecration) set its Uptime to 0 in the Ability sheet.

Note that an AS>HotR rotation sets HotR uptime to .75, AS to 1. HotR>AS rotation sets HotR to .95, AS to 0. An AS>JoV rotation sets Judgement to .75, AS to .83, HotR to .95. Bump HotR by another .05 if you don't want to skip it for resealing every 2 minutes.

So physical weapons are slightly better now?

Updated. Now includes crit, agi, and SoV bonus damage. Also pretty pictures.

Interesting. Well, I like that. I didn't feel right using a non-spell damage weapon when so many things scale with it...

Yeah as long as Blizzard creates weapons that suit us I am happy, just would like to have a tank weapon that wasn't sub-optimal especially if spell damage is better.

A: Warrior weapon with Str/DPS/Parry/Def
B: Pally weapon with Int/Spellpower/Crit

Punched it in, it's too fast. Barely better than the Beatstick.

It's worth noting that spell damage is still not a good threat stat for our armor. It's simply better than the DPS which is removed from caster weapons to provide it.

If it is the case that a healing mace is superior to the warrior weapon, it needs to be made clear to the developers. It's contrary to the design, and it's (like the ranged slot in TBC) stats that a warrior will always have over a Paladin. Better to nip this one in the bud.
