No cause he targets the icebolted person for just a split second.

it's an insta-cast spell which has about ~0.5-1s travel time to the targeted player. If you are using an raid healing addon you can see who has agro for a very short time (grid pops him as red) and then he will either get ice nova'd or ice bolted. Just prime a FoL as soon as you see a non-tank get agro and that is usually enough to let the other healers to land a non-joke heal on him

guessing if you MT Rage, you don't need the PvP trinket?

Would that work here?
Works great. I keep Rage targeted, and as soon as he switches targets, F-4. Very often the resulting Holy Light is the big heal that saves the day.
Also, if you're new to Hyjal maybe you don't know this - Distract works on the first four? bosses. Do some chain-Distracting and you can rez up, drink up, buff up and re-explain the fight to your dumber raiders before the pandemonium begins.

As a note, Rage Winterchill became even easier once our raid had done Naj'entus successfully, we just asked everyone to put on their Naj'entus gear. Gives healers as much time as they need to heal Ice Bolt targets as they will always survive it.[/quote]
better to tank in hell than DPS in heaven
