Iron shield potions for Bloodboil?
My guild is currently working on bloodboil, and our best try is 6%. However it's quite lucky as the first 4 raged ppl are 2 rogues and 2 hunters. The clothies went down so fast and we only had one pain suppression.
Then I'm thinking of distributing iron shield potions to every raid member. The guild master told me that we still had 700 bottles of iron shield potions in store so it's no problem. Anyone used this strategy before? I'm not quite sure if mana users would need to drink mana potions for this fight.
And maybe we just need to take more healers? We took 9 healers last time as we couldn't find more. Some guildies were on summer vacation...

I don't know how much useful 2500 armor would be, even for clothies. They'll still be hammered for well over 15k damage.
Except for a dedicated bloodboil healer, all healers should spam the felraged person with everything that they have. It really requires raw healing power.

I don't think it would make any difference. They will already get a 16k armor bonus, so 2500 would be minimal on any class.

Re: Iron shield potions for Bloodboil?
We downed Bloodboil last night. Considering the 15k armor bonus we only distributed iron shield potions to clothies. Don't know how an important part it played, but the 2 priests felraged both survived. In fact we had less healers (only 8 last night), it seems faster reaction and 2 pain suppression also contributed much.

And some resilience also helps much. I found that I could switch to my [Brutal Gladiator's Libram of Justice] and throw some FoL on the raged person. If a shaman and a paladin both use their S4 healing totem or libram, the raged person could get 39*2=78 resilience, reducing the chance of being crit by 5% and making the kill much smoother.

actually 78 resilience reduces chance to be crit by 2% and reduces dot effects by 4% but it's still a heck of a boost for a fel enraged person.
Actually... with in line with that, I'm considering the MSGW instead of the Antonidas aegis... it's got almost the same armor but resilience for Acidic wound dot reduction.
