0/59/12 The New MT Build
This pretty much a 0/49/12 build with 10 extra talents added for the new stuff.

Advantages:
-Keeps all the old talents and grabs the new goodies
-Gains Hammer of righteous
-Guarded by Light
-Shield of the Templar
-Touched by the Light
-and Judgment of the Just
-Possible off dpser with the changes

Disadvantages:
-Not much hybrid left; healing

I mean, odds are DS will drop aggro to 0 still and stuff but hey, I think its a good spell to have around

DG = Worthless in my eyes
Guarded By the LIght = Slightly less worthless but still not worth the talent points.

And yea I take Imp might over Beni in all my current builds.

Perhaps 0/2 Imp judge and 1 point in reck.

If your the MT of a 10-man guild divine guardian is skippable

Unless I'm horribly misinterpreting what Divine Guardian does, why would a prot ever put points in it? Bubble mid fight, let the boss go mad but hey at least everyone takes 30% less damage? A very poor emergency button if that.

Looks more like a holy talent to me to stave off a raid damage aoe. Or is that the point? Only occasionally useful when some kind of transition happens?

Or have I missed something totally obvious in my haste?

If your not the one tanking, it's a great talent.
This depends on what kind of encounters there are...an encounter such as Moroes for example this would be quite useful as the offtank.

Guarded by the Light seems to be a talent for content which you are overgearing, it's nothing more than helping to prevent having to drink quite so many mana potions.

Judgements of the Just seems a nice talent, but until we know what bosses are like at level 80 it doesn't seem worth picking up yet.

Also, I'm a Reckoning fan.

I like reckoning too. Wish I could fit it in. With 2 new instants Imp Judgement is the first on my chopping block, followed by 1HWS. I still consider it a bad idea to drop Spell Warding. So basically I end up with 0/61/10.

Have fun single-tanking Sunwell and the similarly designed instances that will follow. Even in TBC 10-mans there are plenty of times where this would be useful to a tank.
