How do you use AOE mode on Omen?

I have AOE mode on omen turned on whenever I go into hyjal, thinking it might be useful and give me some useful data.

However, it only tells me my own threat - not really in relation to anyone else's. Is there something I'm missing?

I think it uses some freaky references on raid icons or whatever stuff like that.

I don't bother with it. DPS gives me 4 or so seconds before starting, and if I lose anything I can ninjataunt, and the other tanks are bored anyway.

Also, I don't think AoE mode is useful as a tank; perhaps as DPS so they can see if they're about to get squished.

:D They usually are busier doing something else. Doesn't stop them from stealing aggro halfway into the fight. Stupid warlocks in full t6 + 2 sunwell pieces

That's one of the reason I love SoV. It's amazing the difference in threat when I Tab/apply SoV/tab/apply SoV/etc. through the mobs. I don't even need a full stack up on them for it to make a decent difference.

i love AoE mode in MH o BT

first activate "tank mode" in options

The green bars are those u are tankin the percentage is your lead
the next one in aggrolist will gain aggro if it drops under 100%
The blue bar is your current target...so just tab to the lowest mob
and judge Righteousness or use Exorcism o both then just tab to the lowest again and repeat that all the time !

since i use AoE mode our dds start aoe from the very first sec
without gainin aggro from any mob in most cases ... would be nice to target the lowest by just click on his bar in omen instead of tabbin trough 500mobs till u have the right one
