I have the gear on in my armory now. I also use a Flask of Chromatic Resistance and a hunter for Aspect of the Wild.
I'm rendering and uploading a video I made tonight which I will link as soon as it is finished.

250% ?
Which phase do you keep above the 100% mark?

I remind we sometimes did with the 250% mark in nature phase to grab some more DPS when we were still in blues.
Nowadays it would be just stupid to get it that high.

That's 205 and 250 with auras, add flask of chromatic resistance and it's 240 and 285, as long as you don't pass 100% mark and got proper heales it should be doable

These days, if you're fully geared out in badge/ZA gear, you shouldn't need any resist gear for Hydross. Just transition before 250% so you don't get one-shotted.

I am going to give this a shot with my guild. We still farm SSC one night a week and if I can tank the whole encounter it will make things a LOT easier building our roster for that night lol.
I am looking at ending up with 250 NR and 260 FR buffed. We usually bring 6 good healers to SSC, so I will report how this ends up after I give it a go. We will definately move him before the 250% mark BTW. Always have and always will.

I'm the nature resist tank for my guild. Our frost resist tank has a hard time making every raid, which means we he cannot show we are either skipping the fight or gearing an entire other tank in frost gear. Needless to say, the inconsistency on that end of the fight makes it pretty rough on us when the normal frost resist tank doesn't show.
The last time we downed him, we tried having me tank frost adds, and nature + nature adds and we got our cleanest kill ever. After seeing this thread, I think I can tank both phases.
I put together the following set of gear: http://www.warcrafter.net/sandbox/101519. I'm looking for some commentary to make sure it will be feasible. I don't plan to hold him very long into 100%; usually move him shortly after the 50% mark hits.
Thanks!
