Why I am better for Leo?

3% damage boost = 3% threat boost

For awhile my guild was also hesitant to use me on leo. So for the first few kils I was just healing the lock tank. Once I did through I was always the first choice every time after.

We generate more burst threat than either of the other tanks. In a supported group this only gets better. With the searing totem method all I every had to do was hang out by the totems and drop consecration on the totems. If that didn't work a quick shield toss and I had solid aggro every time.

Also unlike a warrior or druid we have more methods to regain our mana as well. Which can be a problem if just had to solo your shadow and have to pick him up again. Once I convinced them to always give me a shmana and a SP I never had that issue again. Make mana, and max threat group is pure win.

Faster aggro snaps, and faster threat per second makes us awsome in this fight.

The only real problem I ever had was that if consecration was still tickng on the demon phase shift or the 15% shift..the lock had a very hard time getting leo off me. I think one of our last trips there I double tanked both from ~15% to 5% before he killed me. The raid still killed him easily though.

Tanking both forms really helps with the mana issues. And lets your locks do what they do best.
