S3 Mace vs Hyjal mace

I got both and prefer the s3 but in the top guilds , palaprot use the hammer of jugement . What is your opinion ?

Most Prot Paladins don't have the required personal rating necessary to get the s3 gavel. That's probably why they prefer to use the HoJ.

2k I beleive. With the changes to the way they're screwing up arenas don't expect nearly as many 2k plus teams. people with season 4 shoulders with be extremely rare requireing a 2.2k personal rating without scrub teams at the 1500 and 1600 teams to raise the ratings of other teams to fight.

Weapons and shoulders of Season 3 will have their required rating reduced for 50 I think. This should mean S3 weapons in season 4 will have 1800 required rating (1950 for shoulders).

IMO, s3 mace is the best tanking weapon in the game for us.

comparable spell dmg and stamina to anything else, and then resilience. Resil is a defensive stat if you know how to count it. Resil from s3 mace gives you a little wriggle room with defense rating (ie, you can drop below 490) Add the -crit% from Defense and Resilience, if they add to 5.6%, you are good.

Also, Resilience reduces damage from DoT's, which are fairly common in raids. Certainly no reason to tank in full resilience gear, but an extra 1-2% damage mitigation on a DoT-heavy encounter is always nice.
