1 Healer Kara?
Is it possible to go with 1 healer to kara? t6 geared tank healer and dps of course? Just throw me in group with healer and shadowpirest? Want to know before I try out tonight? If so what healer class? Def not druid imo? Resto shaman I'd think, has anyone tried it?

Priest, I suppose. I don't know if it's feasible due to the mechanics of aoe damage on some fights, which really requires 2~ healers. I've been solo healed through prince and nightbane, so it's not like the tank damage itself isn't unhealable(T5 gear)

I had a priest solohealing me as sole tank once. Both me and the healer were in 2.3 badge/T5 level gear and it went incredibly smoothly. We wiped once at Maiden due to a lapse in focus and I think once at Netherspite and once at Prince. In T6 level gear it should be no problem. With 8 decent DPSers in the raid, most of the bosses won't know what hit them.

get hybrid classes who know what they're doing. one healer is completely enough to keep the mt up, but you'll be vulnerable to errors. havong offhealing classes should make up for it.

Fix'd
Well ok, the "solo healing" Priest we used also had a shadow priest in both groups. But honestly, Solohealing the instance brings some of the challenge back for an overgeared raiding healer.

I did this with a druid in my guild about a month ago. Top of the line DPS, 1 tank (me), 1 druid healer. We steamrolled the entire instance in 90 minutes with no deaths.
Arthas, we're coming for you. (Eventually)

That just tells me you have a PvP healer with some PvE epics. Doesn't show me, or anyone, that he's the ONLY healer in a Kara clear.
Hehehehehehe

Heh, he's in PvP gear in that armory but I'm certain he doesn't wear most of that to heal our runs. Check again tomorrow since we run ZA tonight (we 2 heal that one, lawl)

had a shaman solo heal me during prince yesterday. never dropped below 50% hp. Had out OT tankadin (witch was a irl friend of mine thats why he was with us in the first place, we just boosted him true kara) heal our dps if needed. He dident have a single piece of healing gear so, he had about +200 to healing. even tho we had 1 real healer and we where only 9 people, it was a walk in the park.

your margin for surviving errors is smaller with one healer, but the likelihood of them happening is much lower too. with t6 healer and tank, you probably have t6 DPS. 8k raid DPS will make short work of anyone.
For comparison, curator would go down in 86.25 seconds, non-evocated.

better to tank in hell than DPS in heaven
