Akilzon audio addon
For the eagle boss its fairly common knowledge that listening out for the storm sound effect is more effective that using any boss timer. I was wondering whether it would be possible to take some of the annoyance out of having to change your audio settings and strain your ears for the correct thunder rumble.
Would it instead be possible just to have a mod which tells you whenever that specific sound effect file is triggered. In effect giving you a completely 100% accurate storm timer.

Speaking of listening for the rain during akil'zon...
We were doing the first two timed events like we always do and Akil'zon was dying nicely (at 50%) when suddenly...it starts raining. So fine, we crash the tank like we normally do...but there's no storm. like 15 seconds of healers losing their minds later the storm comes and the cast stops...but its still raining. Like its raining in the zone! So we don't know when to crash again next storm. It wiped us and cost us the 2nd timed event. We missed the subsequent kill by exactly 40 seconds. bummer.
What do u guys do if its raining in the zone when you attempt this guy? Is there another reliable means of detecting the incoming storm? or do u go back to relying on the boss mods and soaking the static discharge effect until the storm comes?
Thanks,
MJ

Don't spread out that much, the jump isn't that big and you can have everyone stand on the edge of the platform and move fast if you miss the storms. Just don't bunch together and try to get a boss mod that works. DBM seems to be doing a decent job recently, most of the times, well errrr :S
