Just downed him tonight, tanked the adds with the tauran warriors. Won my t6 gloves, master looter went to hand them over and low and behold Im not on the loot table. GG Blizz!

Just cast rank 1 exorcism at the start on him for loot. You could have petitioned a GM for your gloves too.

99 Yards is minimum range for lootz when the mob dies.

Which is doom range.
Just move towards him at the end (last % or two)

Just do some damage to him and you will always be on his loot table no matter how far away you are when he dies.

Yeah this is a well known issue - we have most of the melee on doomguards (with the tauren's help) and make sure everyone hits him with something between the pull and the first doom.

I tend to chuck a heal on the Azgalor tank before moving off to the doomguards in the first few seconds of the fight - 40 yard range so minimal risk!

We tried the trash leading to Azgalor the other night for the first time, that trash seemed to be more difficult than the boss.

one of our warriors haad the same problem today fr our guild first kill. I hit AZ a couple times early in the fight so i got my T6 gloves

Actually, a heal on any dps midway the run is enough also to get on the agro table. We just have me+druid throw a heal/hot on a random target sometime when there is "free time" for either of us.

We had been having a horrid time with em. So we got into combat and I went into tanking mode on the adds. I busted a hump keepin em down... then we down em and I'm off the loot table. I healed someone. Apparently I healed someone who was outta range. I just wasn't keeping an eye on it.

So maybe next week I'll get my gloves, LoL! I'm going to go drink myself to sleep now...

Just throw an Excorsim on the boss.

You have lots of spare time to cast Excorsim before the adds come.

I pop a JoW on him as he's MD'd to the MT.
If our ret pally is in the raid he'll keep it up for the fight, if not then the holy pallies have a bit of time to get settled at the start of the fight before having to worry about judging.

It's "Build some threat on him". When I do him I mana tap Azgalor as he goes to the tank, and then go to my place to tank doomies. Works like a charm.
