So 2.4 soon - can we go to Sunwell?

Postby Base » Tue Mar 25, 2008 3:31 am

OK so MMO-champion says 2.4 is coming out tomorrow.

My question is at what point can we make our way to the Sunwell Plateau?

We are currently up to Archimonde and Bloodboil (hopefully going down tonight). Is there any point in going in to look at SP or are we just going to get destroyed by trash/Kalecgos?

Your tanks are probably going to get destroyed, but you should be checking it out and farming the (potentially very profitable) trash at any rate.

Go to ZA, Fly to Sunwell isle.. Follow the path left, up the coast. = magisters terrace.
Follow it left over the bridge = Sunwell instance

Has anyone run MT yet on heroic? If so, what's the difficulty level? I plan on farming it with my guild (t5/t6) every day until my trinket drops.

MT is much harder than other heroics, we had some trouble with Kael in our T6 geared group on the PTR until we figured out a good strat >.>

this. basically, dont bring any melee dps at all, nor a pally healer. hell, if you can get a lock to tank it, that might be better too.

the Kael fight is THAT anti melee. it's also pretty well impossible for a pally to heal unless he's either silly good or geared out the ass. i'd take a druid to heal personally.

I already told my guild i'm only bringing priests and druids with me on MGT heroic. I'm sorry for fellow holydins but they are going to fail hard on gravity lapse.

nah it aint hard..it just makes every holy paladin regret his/her own existance when stepping in that instance, i healed there once, and it was enough, altho tanking doesnt seem very appealing when you have priestess delrissa dispeling your righteous fury.. HAI U REMOVE MY AGRO MANAGER HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO TANK U THEN?
