Anything we can do about this?

Make sure a priest puts PW:S on you as it's casting. If you're topped off and wearing max stamina gear you should be alright

I've never had it hit me for more than about 13.5k. As long as your healers are paying attention, these guys are no problem.

I remember when these were scary pre our hp buff...
We did an attunement run last week, I tanked them in my (mostly t4/kara) spelldamage gear that only has like 94% avoidance with HS and the libram (which I don't use)(which I went on to tank voidy in, 700 (alar trinket averaged into it) 'unbuffed' SD ftw?)).

SpellWarding and IRF make their damage substantially lower, and, they stop to cast it for several seconds so you should be on full hp for it anyway.

Also found out that run that it's not the main agro target, it's the highest person on their threat list..?

A warlock had a fun experience ;p

honestly... im an off tank and i tank them fine. there was one time were i died on those pulls and it was only because the warrior couldn't grab his target out of my concencrate so i got hit with 2 blasts.

I've always tanked one too. Few times had my ass pucker when healers weren't ready/paying attention. But my GL/RL is a sadist. His job is to invent new ways to get me killed. It's my job to live thru it. =)

You can always pot/stone right after the charge if you're too low. But we also normally have 2 healers per tank for those (the war MT also) just to be safe.

Can these guys get a little glitchy with their Overcharge? I had one of these bastards pop me for 19.6k with it the other night. Not fun.
