Viable macro idea?
Is there a way (For quest/non-AOE grinding purposes) to have you equip a one handed sword and shield, cast Avenger's Shield, then re-equip your 2 hander for the fight?
Something similar to this (Off the top of my head, haven't tested it):
/equip [noequipped:Exact name of One-Handed weapon] Exact name of One-Handed weapon
/equip [noequipped:Exact name of shield] Exact name of shield
/cast [help,target=target] Avenger's Shield
/stopcasting
/equip Exact name of Two-Handed weapon
I'm n00b so any suggestions/comments are welcomed.

Also, I believe changing weapons triggers a GCD, thus preventing AS from being cast in the first place. Of course, there nothing to stop you from making macro that switches between 1h/shield and 2h (or use a mod like outfitter, though that's overkill if this is all you're using it for), then hit the macro, hit AS, and then hit the macro again.
I don't think you can get it done all in one button press though.

This doesn't work.
equipped:ItemName is not a real conditional.
what does exist is equipped:itemType
But you could do:
/equip [noequipped:mace] Name of Sword
