Weak Aura LUA Read out HoT value of EF?

Hi, I want to make a Weakaura that gets me the actual amount of the HoT - Ticks from Eternal Flame.

it should only consider Eternal Flame I casted on myself.

now I know I should be done with a custom text.

but I am pretty much a noob with LUA.
why doesn't this work?

unfortunatly, this confirms my fears. it also only reads out the Tooltip value, whch is wrong. I want the real amount every HoT Tick heals. the tooltip does not consider BoG stacks/mastery/modifiers such as SoI ... :(

any ideas

You have two options.

1) You read the EF ticks from a CLU Event and change the display once that tick goes through.

2) You calculate it yourself taking into consideration for SoL and other modifiers.

I thought about both options.
2 won't do it, as I also want every possible stuff cnsiered. like bossmechanics that reduce healing taken, oder other encoutner buffs that increase healing and so on.

and for No1 I'm just to bad :(

3) Don't overcomplicate things and use a Full Scan trigger:

Trigger - Type: Aura

Tick "Use Full Scan (High CPU)"

Tick either Aura Name and set it to Exactly: Eternal Flame or tick Spell ID and enter 114163 for EF.

Tick "Use tooltip "size" instead of stacks"

Under the Display tab you can now use %s to get the exact value of the HoT.

3) Don't overcomplicate things and use a Full Scan trigger:

Trigger - Type: Aura

Tick "Use Full Scan (High CPU)"

Tick either Aura Name and set it to Exactly: Eternal Flame or tick Spell ID and enter 114163 for EF.

Tick "Use tooltip "size" instead of stacks"

Under the Display tab you can now use %s to get the exact value of the HoT.

This also works for Sacred Shield (ID 20925), our T16 2-piece HoT (ID 144581), Vengeance or any other thing you might want to track the value of.
