BoP/Salv macro's
my goal is to get a macro that if I press, say Ctrl, I'll cast HoP onto target of target, but if I press it normally it'll just cast directly.
I spend alot of time in all 3 specs, so making macro's that are usable no matter what spec I am really helps.
I'm thinking something along the lines of:
/cast [modifier:ctrl][target=targettarget]Hand of Protection;Hand of Protection
will do the trick, but I'd like a double check on my work from more experienced macro writers.

That should work as far as I know. But you might have to put the modifier and the target between the same brackets.

Yeah, you need to combine the brackets or it'll act as two options (in this case, it'll do the opposite of what you intend, with no modifier for target of target). This should work:
/cast [@targettarget,mod:ctrl][] Hand of Protection
/cast [@targettarget,mod:ctrl][] Hand of Protection

Yeah, 3.3 added the option to use @ instead of target=.
