Removing the red errors

Postby Worldie » Fri Sep 18, 2009 4:46 am

I'm looking for an addon to remove those red messages like "Not enough mana" "Skill not ready yet" etc, anyone can point me to one?

Macroable

/script UIErrorsFrame:Hide()

/script UIErrorsFrame:Show() <---to enable the frame again

/script UIErrorsFrame:Clear() <--- put in a macro for something you want to spam (I use it on my milling macro) to just clear the frame instead of hiding it. If you spam enough it will show the errors foir a split second before hiding them.

That works perfectly, thanks :)

Sorry for the late reply, but an addon that does this is called ErrorMonster.

Additionally, you can also get rid of the sound associated with a "Spell not ready" message (the annoying whump) by doing the following:

Under <WoW Folder>\Data\<language>\Sound make a folder called Spells (if it doesn't already exist) and inside of that one called Fizzle. Place a flie called FizzleHolyA.wav in there and that sound will be played when you generate a "spell not ready" message. Full path is

<Wow Folder>\Data\<language>\Sound\Spells\Fizzle\FizzleHolyA.wav

My file is a blank wav, so I hear nothing and see nothing when I'm spamming some random spell thats just about to come off CD. Probably a bad habit and most likely indicative of a poor playstyle but it works for me :)
