I'm sure that this is going to draw the ire of some people here on the boards, but this is where I am in my current ui.
Image

Things I'm working on tidying up.

1.) I want my tooltips over under my chat frame, but I can't seem to find tooltips in moveanything as an option.
2.) The SS is from the first night that I had Elkano's Buff Bars, they have since been resized so that they aren't quite so huge.
3.) I need to take the time to resize the action bars again. They are a little big, and could use be slimmed a little.
4.) the small cluster of action bars on each side have 'stuff' on them. The left is all my blessings,+ 4 macros. the one of GBoS is a repair/take a break macro (I'm lazy and got tired of typing it. The one next to BoW is a focus macro, next to that is an invite macro, then below those are turn evil (because I use it while soloing) and a readycheck button. The right bar is my general in the city crap. Mounts, profs, etc..
5.) If you click on the SS it will go to a full size version of the UI. Pay no attention to the bindings it shows, I use spellbinder and a gaming pad.

Unit frames are SuF
Map is Chinchilla
Aperture is Sunnart and the skin is called Diablo III

I figure I'm about half done with it, but it is coming along nicely.

That is TukUI default setting. Unitframes in TukUI are oUF. I can only recommend using TukUI. It's the best thing that happened to me in 5 years of WoW Interfaces. --> http://tukui.org though it needs some coding knowledge if you wanna customize it (there are no ingame option menus, everything is done via lua editing)

I wish it weren't quite so integrated >.> I would have liked to pull some parts of out to use myself, but I don't want it all, and it's too monolithic at the moment to figure out how to get just one part cleanly.

Or at least I haven't figured it out - has anyone else managed to get say, just the debuff coloring and the info panels replicated (either from some other mods, or by pulling them out of tukui itself)? Does OUF innately support that sort of debuff display, or was it modded to do so after being merged into tuk? Are tuk's panels based on some standard info panel mod that can still be configured to be about the same? I ask because the current downloads of TuKUI no longer contain distinct recognizable addons, they've all been merged into one or two addons that control the various features internally.

The first thing I noticed is that you're running Vista instead of Windows 7 and went like "wow, who continues to run vista nowadays".

There's something really wrong with me, seriously!

Don't worry, that was actually the first thing I thought as well. I lie, it was actually "lolvista", but close enough.

Finished up this UI recently, will probably tweak it a bit more.

How did you get them to be black and white? :D That's pretty slick.

Edit:
Awesome, it's oUF, which I'm already using. :D I'm looking through the source now to see how it's done.

... and now I see what you mean about it being integrated. Holy shit. :D

Very cleanly written but I can't really seem to find what I am looking for. This does seem like something worth reading, though.

Here's a shot of my UI ooc, that i currently use. Still a work in progress.

the only thing really missing OOC is SBF buff frames and Mik's SCT
old one from 4 months ago used baby spice to get my Frostsaber to look like that

@Kelaan & fafhrd:

I think I found the code for the debuff coloring. It's all in unitframe.lua. In function auraIcon Tukz creates an overlaytexture called icon.overlay. And in function auraUpdateIcon he does the following:
Code: Select all
   local _, _, _, _, _, duration, expirationTime, unitCaster, _ = UnitAura(unit, index, icon.filter)
if unitCaster == "player" or unitCaster == "pet" or unitCaster == "vehicle" then
if icon.debuff and debuffcolorbytype == false then
         icon.overlay:SetVertexColor(0.69, 0.31, 0.31)
elseif icon.debuff and debuffcolorbytype == true then
-- do nothing, color by type
      else
         icon.overlay:SetVertexColor(1, 1, 1)
      end
   else
      if UnitIsEnemy("player", unit) then
         if icon.debuff then
            icon.icon:SetDesaturated(true)
         end
      end
      icon.overlay:SetVertexColor(1, 1, 1)
   end

I did not understand this 100% because I don't know what SetVertexColor does exactly. But according to http://www.wowwiki.com/API_Texture_SetVertexColor it is a multiplier to the original colorcode. I guess that's it.
