<Grumpier Old Men>[H]LFM 1 night/week 10 man

Postby Bahgz » Sat Oct 12, 2013 7:04 pm

<Grumpier Old Men> of Eredar-US (PvP) is looking for like minded players to establish a presence on Eredar in 5.4 and beyond!

Raid days: Sunday Nights (7:00pm-10:30pm EST). Invites go out at 6:30pm!

Future nights for Challenge Modes, Old Content, and PVP will be added as the guild fills out.

Currently Recruiting:
We are specifically recruiting players to join in on our Sunday night raiding group. We need 1 more tank (warrior, pally, druid preferred) and a few dps in particular to get started on 10 man normal modes. Currently we are raiding flex modes every Sunday until we can form a normal group.

-Basic raiding experience is preferred but not required (think pug runs/flex groups)
-510+ Ilvl is preferred but not required
-Stable internet connection, capable computer hardware is required
-Capability to use Mumble and listen to instructions giving out during raid is required

I am looking for players of all skill levels! My personal goal is to create an environment that encourages players to try their hand at raiding. I am looking for players who enjoy raiding and the teamwork involved, as well as those that like to challenge themselves to be better every time they step into a raid. Those that inquire should have interests in the game beyond just raiding as well, and enjoy taking part in various guild activities. If you’re the type of player that logs on only to do dailies and for raid night, this most likely isn’t the guild for you.

About us:
<Grumpier Old Men> was recently formed by two close friends. This has been an idea of ours for several years. We have now reached a point in our wow careers and our personal ones that we could take the opportunity available and establish a relaxed once a week raid team. We have been involved with the game since BC and raiding content since WotLK. I personally have a wealth of hard mode experience and deep understanding of what goes into a steady and stable guild experience.

We’re a guild offering an understanding approach to the busy bee’s out there. We understand that many people out there can’t dedicate 3-4 nights a week for raiding. We’re offering a relaxed environment where we’ll tackle all forms of content that require less time to sink in. A raiding schedule that only takes one evening away. We all have other responsibilities outside of the game, and <Grumpier Old Men> supports those who have their priorities in line.

What we offer you:
- A guild that is fresh and new. It’s a new start for a lot of us and the leadership is motivated to push this into a strong and stable guild on Eredar
- A guild where you will be treated with respect and your voice will be heard. We always welcome thoughts, ideas, and strategies.
- A raid team where players are pushed forward rather than berated for mistakes. We want to build a raid team and develop players in a rewarding environment. Our criticism is constructive!
- A guild in which you will get as much back as you put in.

What we want:
- Players with an open mind! I want people to try things in game that they haven’t before!
- We’re looking for players that enjoy joining in on guild activities, like mount runs and challenge modes. Friends don’t let friends play solo.
- If you’re raiding with us, the best tool to have is a good attitude! Always aim to do better.
- People looking to be part of a team for the long term. We are looking for players that want to spend the rest of their wow career here.
- We want each and every one of our members to enjoy spending time here with each other and we recruit like-minded individuals. We want to be the 'good guys' of the server.

If you have any questions about anything, feel free to message me or my recruitment team in game: Bahggs, Gwozz (My BattlenetID: Bahgz#1711), or email me:

We wish you the best in your guild search!
