The Lumberjacks

We need:

Please note that we keep our roster exceptionall small. Feel free to apply even if your class is not listed, but bear in mind that we will only take such applicants if they are exceptional.



We expect:

1. We first and foremost want people that have a good sense of humour
2. Knowing your class. Preferably all three specs to a decent standard. As we are a small guild, off-specs are often used in our raids.
3. You should have decent knowledge and experience of the current raiding tier. We don't care how awesome you were in Vanilla, we just want to know how much you know now.
4. Have your character up to standard. It should be obvious, but if your character doesn't have appropriate gems and enchants without reason, then you aren't what we're looking for. To expand upon this, you also need to ensure that you are always doing the most to maximise your character's potential, reading relavent forums, changing gems, talents, and gear as appropriate.
5. We have a small raid team, so we need all of our members to be able to, as much as possible attend all our raids.
6. Your gear needs to be up to par and ready for heroic raids; generally at least full 378 with some 391 gear, certainly your equipped average item level should be above 375 at a minimum.Extra points awarded for looking like a Lumberjack!
7. English is the primary language of the guild, so you'll need to be able to effectively communicate in English.
8. You need to be able to use TeamSpeak3 to communicate, this means both listening and the ability talk when it's necessary.
9. We primarily only raid Monday - Thursday, but some times we may call an additional raid on a Sunday, or even extend our raids by a short period, so you should be prepared and willing to raid extra if needed.

About Us:

1. The Lumberjacks currently reside on the European Arathor server, as part of the Alliance.
2. We are currently 6/7 on heroic 10 player Firelands.
3. We have realm first kills of Alysrazor and Majordomo on heroic.
4. We are a guild that raids purely 10 player raid instances.
5. Our normal raid hours are: Monday-Thursday 19:45-23:00 (Server Time). We occasionally do an additional raid on Sunday.
6. We use the EPGP Loot System.
7. A small, skilled team of active raiders.
8. We primarily work as a team - we aren't here to give you an easy ride to epics.
9. A multi-gender, multi-nation community that communicates only in English.

Our aim is primarily to have fun, but ensure that we do the best we can, progress as much as we can, and to always push for these things. We want to be raiding the heroic content, the hardest content we can get our hands on, within the 10 player area.

We called our guild The Lumberjacks, so we like to play around on that, running around with axes and lumberjack shirts, chopping down unsuspecting Treeform Druids! You can learn more about us and our tree felling habits on our about us page.
