[H] EST PVE 4n/wk LF Pally Tank - 11/12 HM25
Who We Are
Plaguechill is a raiding guild on Khadgar (PvE) built with the sole aim of accomplishing 25-man hard modes. The founding members tackled Herald of the Titans ( http://www.guildox.com/go/g.asp?a=3316&r=&w= US#6 US, #16 World and then sought like-minded raiders to join them in 25-man content. We keep a small roster, but we currently have openings for one Paladin tank and one or two DPS.
Our 25man raid times are Sunday - Wednesday, from 7:30 - 11:30 PM EST.
We've been 11/12 in Heroic Icecrown since mid-April. We continue to push hard on Heroic Lich King, and are making consistent progress through the fight, past the waves of Val'kyr. The only thing stopping us now is summertime attendance.
Who You Are
You are a Raider. Not just someone who raids, you Raid. You push yourself to be the best, you understand the interplay of boss mechanics, and you have the reaction time of a chipmunk on speed. You want to finish out this expansion as the Light of Dawn.
You're also a DPS player, or Protection Paladin. (We have every buff covered in some fashion, so the DPS spots are for any class). You should be geared enough to jump right into Heroic Lich King without needing a few weeks of gear farming. You should have a stable internet connection and 90%+ attendance during our raid times.
Prot Paladin applicants should:
[*] Be able to to monitor the "big picture" at all times. Tanks need to assess encounters at the highest level to be successful.
[*] Be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the cooldown system, and how/when they are appropriately used.
[*] Be able to understand how to parse and understand how to interpret incoming damage.
[*] Be able to understand healing mechanics and generate a good relationship with raid healers.
[*] Understand boss fights fully
[*] Be able to build a tank UI, to facilitate a coordinated raid environment
DPS Applicants should:
[*] Utilize spreadsheets and theorycrafting forums to maximize their output
[*] Understand boss fights fully
[*] Be able to build a DPS UI, to facilitate a coordinated raid environment
If this sounds like an environment you'd enjoy, we invite you to read our full charter, and fill out an application at our website: http://www.plaguechill.com/
