For those that read the original post - yes, there's a paladin spot for retribution. As of this post, I suck too much to log in regularly, and our other ret paladin will no longer be available after a certain point this summer.

Need us some melee people - someone to bring Improved Windfury/Improved Icy Talons, and a ret paladin.

FL has been trying to find one since I left, and the only two that were even worth trialing on paper turned out to be terrible.

Well fiddlesticks. If guilds like Something Wicked and Forlorn Legacy can't recruit a ret paladin, WHO CAN?

I think it's due to a similar effect to how trying to recruit a good prot paladin used to be in TBC. Most guilds just have one on their roster, and they hang on to them and nurture them and they don't leave, so actually talented free agents are rare.

It's one of those easy-to-play, hard-to-master classes, just like protection was in TBC, so its something many people have an alt of but few play it as a main to a high level compared to other classes like mages or rogues.
