About Crimson
( http://www.crimson-guild.com)

We are an end-game guild on Greymane-US "CST" who is ranked and top 50 US (http://www.wowprogress.com/guild/us/greymane/Crimson). We've been together since Greymane was created in August 2005, and still going strong. We strive to be the best and are very competitive for first kills.

Current Progression

- Yogg+0 completed 8/10/09
- Glory of the Ulduar Raider complete 6/6/09
- Heroic: Glory of the Raider complete 1/14/09
- Glory of the Raider complete 1/6/09

Raiding Schedule/Info

Sunday thru Thursday (Fri-Sat normally off or 10mans) 7:00 pm - 12:00 am CST. However, these times are subject to change during times of progression and farm content.

We also run a Loot Council system that consists of the GM and Officers which is effected by attendance/participation, needs of the upgrade, best use of the item, etc.

Core Focus

Our core focus is first and foremost current PvE content, however we do enjoy PvP/Arena when not raiding. While not raiding we are actually a pretty relaxed group of people. We do have a group of people who have an interest with Alts which regularly clear current PvE content on off-nights as well.

Current Needs

We are always looking for highly skilled players regardless of current needs so feel free to submit an Application.

- 1 Rogue
- 1 Lock
- 1 Holy pally

Our roster is relatively small. We believe in quality over quantity, and always try to recruit for full-time positions, not bench spots.

What we look for in Recruits

We look for players who want to be the best they possibly can be while still striving to get better. Being goal oriented and having a clear understanding of your class/spec inside and out, including regular research and theory crafting for the best possible results, is mandatory. We actively run Combat Logs and upload them for everyone to review. Also, we look for players who know when to take things seriously and can handle themselves under pressure while still enjoying the game.

- Intelligence: We are not looking for children or someone who needs their hand held all the time, obviously. Being able to understand simple game mechanics and being able to contribute to new boss strategy is always helpful. We have members who are very good with problem solving and strategy development, writing and creating WoW addons, and web design. All of this doesn't need to apply to you, but it's a few examples of the type of player we prefer.

- Dedication: The majority of our raiders are full-time raiders who play everyday and that's what we're looking for from you. We understand there are times when serious real life circumstances can affect your play time and that's unavoidable. All things considered, we are looking for people who can maintain 90% attendance, especially while pushing new content. If you cannot commit to this then you might want to look elsewhere. After all, people who share the same passion as we do usually fit right in and we want you to as well.

- Hardware Reliability: Your connection, ISP, and PC should, of course, be capable of handling raiding. Constant disconnects or lag is not something we want during raids.

- Experience: We like individuals to have as much experience with the game as possible. While this isn't a huge issue, it definitely helps a lot and plays a factor in our decisions. Players who have cleared all Vanilla WoW and Burning Crusade content at the appropriate levels is a good example.

- Gear: Your current gear isn't one of our bigger concerns when making choices about applicants, but it is a factor. Keep in mind, your gear choices and the way you gem/enchant your gear shows us quite a bit.

- Personality: We are not looking for someone who is emo or a drama queen. The past 3 years have been relatively drama free and with next to no guild tension, which is a great thing. The game is more fun for everyone that way. We need mature players who know when it's time to joke around and when it's time to be serious.
