What do u guys do when a rogue sapps and u cant use avengers shield

Rogues in my party don't get to sap.

If there are more than three, have them sap the furthest one to the left or right and then go on the other side and pull with your shield, it'll hit just the unsapped mobs. You gotta let em sap sometimes just to keep them happy, other times I dont give a shit and just throw my shield anyway.

When a rogue saps, depending on if there is a caster amongst the group, I would mana tap, walk back a bit and use AS. If not, body pull. Talking primarily on heroics. If not grab them all, and tell all the dps'ers to push up their dps

There's no such thing as "can't".

Either there's not enough mobs to make CC useful or you can sap one you know you wont hit with your shield.

There are some situations in heroics where you can't use the shield to pull. In these situations I will walk up to the pull with holy shield active and back up towards the group as the other cc like sheep etc is applied.

The holy shield threat is normally more then enough to keep whatever isn't getting cc'd on me untill I can position it to consecrate. I use max rank holy shield in these situations. Retribution aura helps too.

For casters who wont move back or I can't line of slight pull we just have our ranged dps burn them down 1st.

What about just pulling with a trinket?.. (boomerang, cold basilik eye, etc.)

Sure, you don't want to have those trinkets in all the time, but you can use them to pull when you need to...

Even if it's just the druid healer doing Fairy Fire, you have the ability to pull a pack of mobs that you can't safely use AS w/o breaking sap.

You can actually try AS later after someone else pulls. I normally do that in heroics when there are more targets than I can handle.

I.e Mech event after the Nethermancer, our locks just aoe fears while I AS them, after which I have a slight headstart on aggro. Works 75% of the time, depending on how spaced out the mobs are when they are feared.

something that is also an option, pull with a mana tap (be) then avengers shield them as they head toward you. takes a little finesse but works.
