Re: A Call to Arms - MoP Mechanics Testing
I've been meaning for a while now, to say a big thank you to everyone that's putting all this work into the theorycrafting.
I've been mostly lurking here for the years I've been playing wow, but I wouldn't be half the tankadin I am without the info I've found on this site
Anyway thx again.

Blah, I screwed up set 4 and 3 for judgment
Also, Theck, how do you get the HotR data?
With it being weapon damage now, I cannot tell the nova from the physical part

Take you character screen weapon damage, multiply it by 0.3, see which numbers correspond to that amount?

One should be physical damage, the other holy.
How did you screw them up, out of curiosity? I'm just about to take a look at the data sets, if they're just mislabeled I can easily sort that out.
<edit> it would also probably be less work to just upload each individual log to WoL yourself rather than zip them all up and post them here.

I believe Set #4 for HotR is actually Set #3
I already inputted most of the data into the spreadsheet -- 'cept for HotR
Here are the logs

OK. I'm uploading them to WoL as we speak.
Question: I see you put values into the spreadsheet for these tests already. Are those recount values, or did you already upload them to a different WoL guild?

Re: A Call to Arms - MoP Mechanics Testing
different WoL guild... I posted them to our guild's WoL
http://www.worldoflogs.com/guilds/147351/
I'll fill in the rest of the gaps in the spreadsheet later tonight, once I get out from work.

Re: A Call to Arms - MoP Mechanics Testing
I have time now, I can do it. If you're going to upload them to your guild's WoL anyway, just link me directly to those. That way I don't have to re-upload each one to the MT guild (I don't care what guild they get posted to).
<edit> Also, I re-arranged the spreadsheet to make it easier to find things. Should be more readable now.

already did *points at the link*
all the recent posts are the logs you've been asking for =P
JHotREF-4-15952 should be JHotREF-3-15952 as I labeled it as #4 by accident.

Yeah, I understand that. I meant for future logs, there's no need to post the zip files here.

Re: A Call to Arms - MoP Mechanics Testing
I got a question... looking at
http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/4b2h ... details/0/
HotR physical is 62.4 avg and the nova's avg is 1873.1 -- is this correct?
Cuz if that's the case, we got the spreadsheet backwards when it comes to HotR

Re: A Call to Arms - MoP Mechanics Testing
That's correct. I just mislabeled it while cleaning up. That's data from an old build though, so it's not critical. Going forward, I'm thinking we'll just add new rows for each build so we have a running log of how things changed.

Re: A Call to Arms - MoP Mechanics Testing
yeah, looking at the spreadsheet was thinking the same. It gives us a quick glance how abilities change from build to build.
