1. A Mage for table
2. An efficient no-downtime healer that allows me to chain-pull from start to end
3. A DK for Horn of Win

:)
I used to play a paladin.

The funny thing is, I find myself using less and less food now-a-days. I practically give away all of the food that I get, and I might occassionally drink something(After a boss fight where I can't sustain hits on them for 15 seconds), but.. I really don't use food all that often. Healers take care of my HP. Healers, Avoidance and melee hits(DP) take care of my mana. The only reason I really even use food anymore are for the buffs. Love me some Dalaran Clam Chowder.

I'd have to vouch for the DPS DK, in heroics. DGing casters and all the AOE makes things much smoother.
For just about every situation I have a Disc Priest firmly glued to my hip.

Dunno I haven't found a heroic where DGing a caster was less annoying than getting the caster myself

I kind of wonder if I've developed favoritism towards the classes I play with or if they're actually that great to have. But a hunter that knows how to misdirect, and well, makes pulls go very smoothly. A disc priest makes sure I never die. And a feral druid makes sure that even the weirdest situations are survivable. A couple high-threat locks and mages are good company as well, because they prefer me tanking.

Oh, and fan of knives spam is great.
Moo.

I'm inclined to agree. Thanks to Shield of the Templar, Mage pulling is slightly easier, eliminating the need to dash to them or pull them LOS in situations were areas of limited LOS aren't avaliable. Better their cooldown than our's, though. :P

So what's so special about feral druids?

Both cat and bear-specs include survival of the fittest (+6% stats and 6% reduced chance of being crit), so a cat can at any point pop into bear-form and save the day. Besides, cat dps-gear = bear tank-gear (ish), just gemmed and enchanted differently. A well-geared cat in bear-form is a hell of a tank, actually.

In heroics I like to run with people in plate, I find I have more room to screw up there. Though I seldom get my wish fulfilled :D

Leveling from 1 to 80 I ran with a frost mage the whole time, I got quite addicted to his food, and his portals. The int buff was nice when leveling, but I was running out of mana all the time anyway.

Somebody said to get a warrior, dk and ret pally...bad idea if you want to kill any melee with cleaves etc. I like no more than 1 melee dps in a group, but thats my personal preference.

So if you are dranei or belf, you need to find a good shammy healer, a moonkin or cat druid, a hunter, and a mage/spriest/lock. With that group you can run just about anything with no trouble at all. And get achievements. Woot achievements!

Cleaves should never hit melée dps that are positioned properly behind their target.

Anywho, I prefer a Priest healer but often times roll with at least one other Paladin. I just hate having to make the choice between BoSanc and Kings.

My group I run with every weekend Friday, Saturday and Sunday is:

Me (Prot Pally)
Resto Shaman
Rouge
Mage
Destro Lock

We run every heroic every day on the weekend. We all have gotten well over 2500 Hero Badges. You might ask Bozie why do that every weekend like that? Well Raiding takes money and takes enchants, And OMG we got allot of Freaking Mats to enchant our gear for the 5 of us. Since we have done it so many time we have those runs down to a science and it might take us maybe 5 hours to do them all.

PS includes Oculus
