Thanks to WoWwiki for the data - corrections are welcome, as would be a number for Seal of Blood.

Seal of Righteousness - 1H Weapon - 0.092 * Weapon Speed
Seal of Righteousness - 2H Weapon - 0.108 * Weapon Speed
Seal of Vengeance - 0.17 per tick

Judgement of Righteousness - 0.7143
Judgement of Vengeance - 0.4286

Holy Shield - 0.05 per block

Consecration Rank 6 - 0.954

Exorcism - 0.4286

I also want to get numbers for lower-rank Holy Shield and Consecration, since I downrank those often when I'm low on mana.

I just went looking for a list of spell coefficients, and couldn't find one. Tried the Search function, no joy there either.

Anyone know of a good current listing someplace, or do I have to make one myself?

Thanks. Other people can see my monitor here at work, so going to sites that say WORLD OF WARCRAFT across the top isn't perfectly safe...but I can check it out at lunch.

I have a small problem... Either the coefficients are wrong... or I'm doing the math incorectly for Holy Shield and Consecration.

Base math:
Holy Shield 186
Consecration 512
Current Spell Damage 244

With the coefficients given, I should be seeing

186+(244*(5/100))
Holy Shield 198.2

512+(244*(95.4/100))
Consecration 744.78 (93.1 per tick)

Instead I'm seeing:
Holy shield 211 per block
Consecration 98 per tick (total of 784 for full duration)


I havn't tested anything else.

Ya... lol, you posted before I could edit my post... because even with the +5% talent things are off.

With my math I should be getting
holy shield 208.11
Consecration 782.01 (97.75)

Which is still off the mark... I'm ofc applying the +5% after the spell damage... if I were to apply it before the spell damage I'm Sure the numbers would be lower.

Consecration is extreamly close... but then again everything that bliz does rounds down...

yeha the numbers arn't perfect but as you state how blizzard round there numbers will play a part in that .. basically it's as close to 5% as damn it and if your only <1% out then you can put it down to fractional rounding

Yes it does.

His math should look like either:

[186 + 0.05*1.2*244]*1.05

or

[155 + 0.05*244]*1.05*1.2

I prefer the second equation personally as the tooltip which says 186, really means 155 plus the 20% from the improved talent

If you run:
[155 + 0.05*244]*1.05*1.2

you get a result of 210.672, which will get you a lot of 211's

Boy, thats the last time I do theoritical math late at night. I had compleatly forgoten about the +20% to holy shield from those 2 extra talent points.

Just some extra info for Arcand:

SoV DoT: 3.4% per stack per tick (which gives you the 17% per tick for a 5 stack)

SoV Direct Damage (PTR): weapon_speed/90 for the decimal value.

Example: for the CB (1.8speed), coeff = 1.8/90 = 0.02 (or 2%)

If you have a shadow priest in the group, misery also adds +5% spell damage.

I know them for consecration, more-or-less by empirical methods (let's just say I am not popular among the Deeprun Rat community). Here's a little table I made up for my guild forum. The percentages aren't absolutely correct, because I just looked at the numbers ticking and if it changed between two numbers I assumed the true value was half-way between.

I also made a dpm chart. The take-home message is that if you have more than 200 +spell, rank 1 is the most efficient (by quite a lot), 6 is least (by not quite so much), while ranks 2, 3, and 4 are in the middle and almost identical.
