H:TOC5, Paletress fight.

I ran my random this morning, got Paletress, and the nightmare NEVER cast waking Nightmare (the fear). It wasn't that we dps'd it down before it got to that point, it just never cast. I double checked my combat log to make sure, and it was never cast in a 2min12sec fight.


Has anyone else had this happen?

I am not sure if I have or not. I believe it's random -- I've had some fights where it's chain-feared the heck out of me (and everyone), and many where it only does it once ... and I may have had one with zero. I don't recall.

It's rare, but pretty much any boss can bug so that they stop casting abilities. Hell, we once had Al'ar bug and not do anything in phase 1. He just stayed on one of his platforms. We DPS'd him down to 1% and... nothing happened. He just stayed at 1%. That sucked.
