[H] Forge of Souls, am I ready to tank it?

I sold my old account, and I've cleared most of Ulduar 10 hard (no vexaz, 1 light) , all of Uld 25 normal (no yogg), so just I know what I'm doing as a pally tank, at the very least.

Now I'm back, just hit 80 2 days ago, and I'm eyeing those boots in FoS heroic. I'm wondering if I'm ready to tank it given a decently geared healer. I'm not sure if the burst damage the last boss gives is still too high for me or if I'll be ok. It is interruptable right? I'll be running with a geared rogue so he will be able to kick (burst of soul? forgot what that ability is called. Phantom blast? Something along that line) it for me.

I know most of the community will be all like 35k unbuffed or gtfo but from an actual standpoint will I be able to do it without too much difficulty? Or should I queue as DPS some more and take my chance?

I'd say just try it with a group of guildies or friends that will give you a chance. Other than that I'd try to pick up the black heart out of normal 5man toc for more padding on your health pool. Replace the banner of victory.

Are you asking about boss abilities to know if you're ready to tank it, or are you asking about your gear?

Because it seems to be that you're asking about your gear.

Hence why this should be in the Gear Discussions and Advice sub-forum.
