List of Amplify Magic Encounters

My understanding is that most Wrath encounters do not have magic damage that gets amplified from Amplify Magic. Does anyone have a list of encounters where its safe to use Amplify Magic? It would obviously be of enormous help on fights such as Use Your Illusion, That Cache Was Rare, Smell of Saronite, etc. if the magic damage received was not amplified.

If no one knows of a complete list either here on other forums, I would be happy to make this thread a master list, based on people's observations downthread.

Amplify and Dampen magic seem to be two of the most underutilized buffs by most groups. I'm pretty sure any mage who isn't in a hard core raiding guild barely knows those spells exist.

I, too, would like to know more about the safe usage of Amplify/Dampen Magic.

You can quite safely use amp. magic on Patchwerk, haven't bothered to research other encounters.

Pretty sure it's fantastic on the tank for Vezax hard mode. May need to be removed when animus spawns, though I don't think I've ever clicked it off.

I hadn't heard this anywhere; my understanding was that Amplify Magic was universal for magical damage and not safe to use any time there's a significant magic attack. So for Thorim, Hodir, Vezax as you mention it's a very bad idea for the raid. Maybe for Thorim P2 and Vezax P1 it would be a good idea for the tank.
