This achievement is impossible. I am in nigh-full ilvl213 epics and am extremely frustrated at this achievement. I *want* to brute-force it, bringing two Retribution dps (or taurens), a shaman, and a Holy priest healer. Unfortunately my best attempt (paladin healer, enh/warrior/mage dps, me) ended in a wipe with 50k hp left.

About this kiting strategy, what is the best way of doing it? Do I need a boomkin in the group? Can I get an unholy tank DK or another protadin? Or can I simply do the kiting myself? If it is indeed easier to kite the adds, can someone go over the exact things I'd need to do to make it doable? Thanks.

I brute forced it the other day, it sucks but very possible.

I am not sure if the kite method works or does not work, to be honest.

Brute forced it tonight, one shot. Nothing special about group makeup.

So you pretty much need some sort of shaman DPS, since having a healer who can heal after death helps so much? And is more aoe than just my Holy Wrath mandatory?

Heroism ftw, the 2nd holy wrath from the ret pally was nice.

The one thing is to try and keep the 2 skirmishers stunned.

We killed the skirmishers and then pulled everything else.

Yeah, I should try killing the two skirmishers. I just tried this tonight with a 2healer/2tank setup, thinking hey I'd tank the adds and the other tank would take the boss along with his dps guy.

... do NOT even attempt this. It ends only in tears.

*edit* by "adds" i mean the watchers after their minions are [in theory, as we never got this far] dead.

Seems like.

Pull first group. Kill skirmisher. Pull third group. Kill skirmisher. Pull second group. Holy wrath, shield wall, sacred shield, conc, hand of freedom, run and kite.

OT, DPS and healer stay and kill boss. You kite adds away. You will get blinded. Flash of light your self and they all come back at you. Kite more. Die honorably. Soul stone or battle rez if you want.

It's easyish if you have a plate class dps and a decent healer.

Pull left pack, kill adds
Pull middle pack, kill adds
shield toss right group, start running to entrance
stun the guy who does web wrap (middle one), if you need to, then make a /tar watcher whatshisnameagain macro for it

run to the entrance, heal yourself if you must and just wait, they run slower than run speed. If they wrap you your toast but the group will still have ~15-20s AFTER you die to kill the boss, that is about a full minute or two for dps to burn him down.

All of the watchers use web wrap, by the way.

I would assume they're referring to the group wide stun that one does.

We just pulled all packs and killed small adds one by one, then nuked down the boss. There isn't much damage going on without the small adds.

Our setup was (if it helps):
Tankadin (me, obviously)
Resto shammy
Destro Lock
Surv Hunter
Fire mage

Gear is, well, i miss a few items to have all best in slot, others prolly more, but not really bad gear.

yes, all of them cast it but the middle one does it on cooldown every 5 or 10s. The others use it also but quite rarely.

Left one - Poison volley
middle one - Web Wrap
right one - Blinding webs

Anyhow, it's easy enough as it is. The fact is we stunned the middle one since the left one will do a poison volley and the right one hasn't reached you yet. And the good thing is, they dont use their special abilities (looked like it) before they reach you

Tried this for HOURS tonight =/ 150g later still didn't get it..

What kind of dps would you need to have to brute force it.....

Gonna bring a DK tank next time as well for a kite method... AoD will give us some extra time..

I tried kiting myself but kept getting wrapped and would die halfway down the hallway.... we didn't have any slow or MDs =/
