When I was farming them for Brood rep, there are a few spots along the wall where you can make them evade, if you wait for them to evade and start walking back to their original spot, then run out and engage them again, it is possible for none of them to have powers, and not heal each other on death. Much easier, no mana burn, MS, or regrowth.
