Im just alittle curious what people think about using http://www.wowhead.com/?item=25526
in aoe tanking.
I mean has anyone tryed it? does it work for 1 hour again and again? or only once. Seems awesome since in a aoe tanking vs melee this would kinda med a constant refreshing 400 damage, if i havent understood this completly wrong.

Lemme see:

400 Damage every 90 seconds for an hour is a total of 16000 damage all things told. Which equates to 4.44 DPS mitigated overall. It's ok, but it'd feel like a waste of a Khorium Bar in most situations.

I'd use earthen elixir over it.

when I AoE farm by BT, I pull like 27? mobs on a big pull. 900 dmg is that much. I can actually block almost ALL the dmg done to me (moreso if I had the auto-blocker).
