True... right now I'm still really looking at it from the perspective of what toons to level, and changing any professions as needed.

Given that rep is also needed now for the bracers and weapon enchants, that means your chanters need to have a certain level as well. So I'm still looking at my core set of toons, and deciding what I want to run with...

I've got:

miner/engineer (may become JC/engineer once leveled)
Inscrip/Engineer (may become Inscrip/Tailoring)

then the alts

enchanter/engineer (likely will level enough for the rep)
skinner/alch (will not level, gonna park in Vof4W)
JC/Alch (will not level)
JC/Alch (horde, will not level)
Miner/herber (will transfer to gather)
Herb/Alch (undecided)

So given the current rep requirements, and the SoH status, not sure what else I'd do here, unless I decide to level more toons.

We understand that this may be of concern to those who play a variety of profession alts, and may consider other options for the future, including the possibility of allowing Spirits of Harmony to be Bind to Account in a future patch.

That's really interesting.. they are putting their foot down on this, I expect the current method not to change until the following tier.

Right now the two I think I am going to level are my current two mains that I run anyways.

Mining/BS
Enchanting/Alchemy

I have a third that I haven't worked up professions on yet I am currently thinking Herb/Inscription

Inscription will be strong, a lot of markets to work with.

That is my thinking by adding that in on a third it will give me a good range to hit most any market that will be fairly useful early and later on in the expansion. I need to get off my butt and get to work on inscription before prices get too high as well.

I'll be leveling my main first for rading, so that's BS/Eng. Annoying that he doesn't have a gathering prof, but I'm not going to change it. Second stringer will be my DK with Mining/JC. I'm trying to get him some decent gear now from LFR+VP so that he'll be able to survive alright in Jade Forest and get me some Ghost Iron without having to worry about questing and leveling up.

After that I'm not sure. I have 2 other 85s. One Ench/Insc and one Tailor/Alch. I'll probably level their profs later when the price of herbs stabilizes, and acutally level the toons once I decide I need the rep patterns. Then Ench/Insc can probably still make good money selling old recipes to new pandas & monks for a while. I have a herb/skin druid, but he's locked at 80 until I get it together to do Herald of the Titans. Maybe I should push to get that done in the next few weeks and then level him up (or give up on it until I get bored and make a panda).

Thought about it some more, and after looking at the mess of leveling LW or tailoring, and then still needing to level the toons, gonna pass on that... so..

miner/engineer (main)
Inscrip/Engineer (2nd main)
enchanter/engineer (transfer to ally, 2nd main)
skinner/alch (will not level, gonna park in Vof4W)
JC/Alch (will not level)
JC/Alch (benched)
Miner/herber (benched unless main picks up JC)
Herb/Alch (leveling only by herbing, lowest priority)

Only real question is eventually dropping mining for JC on my main when leveled and I have the rep for the patterns. May not be worth it.

Hum,

Main (JC/BS)
Shammy (Erb/Min)
2nd Pala (Alc/Scr)
Hunter (Ski/LW)
Warlock (Erb/Min)
Priest (Enc/Tai)
Warrior (Min/Eng)

Of course i will not do quests in all. Probably 2/3, i need to think who has most to win in addition to the Main.
An open mind is like a fortress with its gates unbarred and unguarded.

That is thinking like a raider.

Now, look again and think as a goblin.

A hint, it's not what you see, it's what you DON'T see. More specifically, I don't see the magic line 'requires engineering'.

Oh I see, I was in the wrong thread in my mind...
I see raiders clamoring for these just for the custimization option (see my previous post *cough*)

My assumption is that it will be Eng Required by the time it hit's live. If it doesn't then it will make Eng very profitable especially during the first tier of raiding. As a raider I know I would want with that much customization available to me.
